Can i vape wet weed

I also found the vap to be stronger in taste now. A different taste as mentioned on another post here. But , I also found the stone to be WAY stronger , can't give you any reason why , but the older the cure the stronger the stone. This is what I discovered and after experimenting daily these results seem consistent , for me anyway.

So in conclusion and in answer to your question , the vap taste changes over time and the potency increases. It is quite cool to be able to experience the various aspects that the vary same strain can offer over an extended period without changing anything but time. So no matter what you do , it's all good. Most importantly , enjoy yourself and have fun. Good luck! Deleted User 0.

I'm surprised it tasted good. The chlorophyll normally gives it a grassy taste. I remember I had a plant that smelled like fruit loops and I tried it early and it didn't taste that great in the vape so I never tried doing that again. Deleted User Options Share 1. Kakarot The reason you get "higher" with freshly cut Cannabis is that when aged, say 2 or 3 months some of the THC breaks down to CBN which is more of a relaxing mellow feeling than THC, there is also alot more THCV present in aged Cannabis which acts on appetite,it actually suppresses it and is good for treating metabolic disorders and diabetes.

I also hate them at the same time because I can never judge a dose and always end up eating to much. I love the Terps and Flavanoids in fresh cut, also this is all "hearsay" because I don't use Cannabis only Paprika :D.

Just let the plant finish dry and cure and then see how she smokes. The vaping of the fresh junk is fine. It's a bit "planty," but the heat range is perfect to decarboxylate the THC acid, thus "activating" the THC that would have occurred during drying and curing, all of it I just have a tasty hand-rolled American Spirit Organic cig at the ready to clear my palate of the chlorophyll flavor BloodShot Well-Known Member.

MuaySmoke Well-Known Member. I have an extreme and have tried smoking fresh herb before. It definitely does the job, but doesn't taste the greatest.

It's for sure a more of a head high as suppose to a body buzz. I'm not a fan of it and won't do it unless I have to. I imagine the buzz is different do to the fact that different chemicals are working to make the buds grow, so who really knows what's going on. It is a perk to having the vaporizer though.

Using the duff for budder after is great also. PiffGrower Member. I just vaped some wet trim and I must say im really surprised at how much this is effecting me. Verde Well-Known Member. It doesn't really work until like week of curing.

Easier to just smoke the semi-wet buds. Otherwise it tastes like a lawn mower bag. While the conventional view is that the THC content itself increases during curing, that is a misconception. There is a negligible change in the total amount of THC. What does change significantly is the volume of chlorophyll and starch, which starts to drop! As a result, it increases the proportion of THC and the flavor Terpenes.

If you were to smoke uncured weed, you still burn everything in it. Fortunately, vaping is more precise. Vape the uncured weed as you would if it were cured. You will still get traces of the chlorophyll etc. However, the consensus is that this affects the smoothness of the experience but not necessarily the potency of the hit.

Each stage of the process has its unique optimum conditions, as does each individual grower have their own way of drying and curing. This works for me.

Use your tent or grow room if you can. To cure, place the dried weed in a mason jar. Air circulation — The constant movement of moisture-heavy air away from the plant enhances the evaporation rate. Trim — Remove all excess greenery that will not go in your vape. Use a drying rack — Simply hanging upside-down on a clothesline works but you have to hang by the stem, which retains much water. So, if you have access to a drying rack you can trim all the stalk away which results in accelerated drying times.

I use the trays from my dehydrator in place of a drying rack. Darkness — Green plants will continue with photosynthesis if they are exposed to sunlight, which will reverse the curing process. Spacing — Do not pack the mason jars full; three-quarters full is ideal.

Make sure that they move freely when you shake the jar. If they stick, they are still too wet. Good Cheating — Make holes with a fork on a piece of thin plastic.

After placing the buds in the mason jars. Put the plastic across its mouth and place small bits of paper between it and the lid before screwing it on. The paper absorbs moisture from the buds so the curing process can proceed uninterrupted without the daily airing process disrupting the equilibrium inside.

Once plucked, do not ever place the leaves in sunlight to dry. Without a supply of nutrients from the soil or hydroponic water, the THC will begin to break down immediately. If you are willing to wait after reading all that, you will find a decent drying and curing guide on Royal Queen Seeds. I have felt the temptation to cut corners and skip drying and curing, so I empathize.

However, when circumstances force you to, one thing is sure: the vaping experience will be less than perfect. First, there is the bitterness of the taste, the harshness on your throat, then all the precautions you must take.

All this to salvage a high that otherwise comes with no effort. The drama detracts from what should be a time to kick back, switch your brain off, and just get baked. If you have invested all that time, money, and effort into growing a batch, the least you could do is reward your efforts. The best way to do that is to dry and cure before savoring the fruits of your labor.
